Grandpa and Grandma Barnes' Visit

Grandpa and Grandma Barnes came and visited us this past weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful!!! We just hung out and we went to the park. We love just love having them come and visit!!

Jackson's Spider Outfit

In daycare Jackson is learning about insects and spiders. I guess at 15 months he understands that!?! Monday night when I picked up Jackson from daycare, they let us parents know that Wednesday was come to daycare as a insect or spider. What kind of notice is that. Well I put some thought into it and asked a few people from work for some ideas. I really thought staying up late for arts and craft for Jackson would come much later in life. I was thinking he would be in 5th grade, not 15 months old. All I know is, as I was making this spider for Jackson I smiled ear to ear. This kind of thing is what makes moms special. Here are some pictures of Jackson's spider. BTW I am very proud of it!!!

Fireworks!

Yesterday we took Jackson to see the fireworks! When the firework show started, Jackson was all wide-eyed and amazed by the fireworks. About 10 minutes into the show this is what I saw! He is to precious!!!

Chicken Fest

Jackson with the led singer of JADA!

Jackson playing the duck game!

Every year the Darboy Kiwanis Club puts on the Chicken Fest. We took Jackson to the festival this year. Jackson played on the playground, and played the Duck game, and met Jada the music group. Chicken Fest has fried Chicken and Chicken Wings. We saw a Chicken wing eating contest. Very interesting is all I'm going to say. The best thing about this fest is it is free to get in and we only spent $20 on food and game tickets!!! We had a great time!

Jackson's Swimming

Last weekend we bought Jackson a swimming pool! He loves it! We had to put hot water in the pool for Jackson to play in the water. Once we did that, then he just splashed around.
