Well, you are not really alone with the kitties. I know it may not be the same, but think DISNEYLAND!!!!!! and don't be too hard on him when he gets back home. LA can be rough and that is a hot part (maybe not now, but late this summer, watch out!). Hope he gets his sense of directions in order as one could get lost there and end up on the coast before recovering.
